The mission of the Archimedes Project is to develop and disseminate technologies that will have a positive impact on people regardless of their ability, needs, preferences, location and culture
Vision
Future research and development at Archimedes Hawaii, and at collaborating Archimedes Projects around the world, will focus on extending the use of iTASK™ technologies to solve accessibility and communication problems related to disability, aging, education, literacy, lack of infrastructure, and limited resources.
We believe that iTASK™ provides the key to delivering the benefits of information technologies to people in emerging countries without the complexity and insurmountably high costs of existing computer systems.
